Prior to commencing Rix Insurance Ltd in 2010, Corey’s background was in Senior Underwriting and Business Development positions where he worked with large Insurance Companies for over 15 years. It is this experience that greatly benefits the clients he works with, as very few Insurance Advisers have this kind of industry experience.
Corey has completed the National Certificate in Financial Services (Financial Advice) (Level 5) qualification. Corey also attends regular Insurance Company training events to stay up to date with latest Product Developments and Benefit Enhancements.
Outside work Corey is actively involved in Surf Lifesaving, having been a volunteer guard at Piha for over 25 years. Other interests include Surfing, Cycling, Fishing, Diving. I'm also trying to learn to play the guitar which is an ongoing battle!
I often get asked what I do, but to me it's, why do I do it. My "why" is, "I believe in educating my clients, so that they have control of their futures, no matter what happens to them". I'm super passionate about what I do!
