Rick started his career in Financial Services in 1989, as an adviser for Tower Financial Advisory Services, where he soon established himself as one of Tower's top advisers. In January 2000 he, along with 13 other advisers left Tower to establish Goldridge Wealth Management a large, and successful, financial planning business. In May 2011 Rick completed all required qualifications to achieve Level 5 Financial Adviser status according to the requirements set by the Financial Markets Authority. On the sale of Goldridge in June 2014, Rick formed his new company - Ballater Wealth Management Ltd. On the 15th March Ballater Wealth Management Ltd was issued a Transitional Financial Advice Provider Licence by the Financial Markets Authority. Under this new structure, Rick, as a Financial Adviser, continues to look after the Insurance and Investment needs of clients from all walks of life. He specializes in comprehensive Risk Insurance and Investment Planning services for families, farmers and other business clients. Ballater Wealth Management has built a great reputation in the industry, with most new clients coming from referrals from existing clients and other professionals.
