Profile
I gained my Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland in 1999, majoring in Economics and Financial Accounting. I have also completed my Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Financial Planning) through Massey University. I am a Certified Financial PlannerCM Practitioner, a member of Financial Advice New Zealand and the New Zealand Trustees Association.
I am a Financial Adviser and employed under Avenue Advice a licensed Financial Advice Provider FSP 687131.
On a personal level, I believe that with KiwiSaver now in place, less corporate super schemes offered and the increasing awareness among the community that you must provide for yourself has led to the retirement issue becoming ever more complex.
I am married with two daughters and a son and live in Devonport on Auckland's North Shore. I am a current member of the Devonport Rotary Club and a past-President of the Takapuna Rotary Club. In my spare time I am also a Volunteer Firefighter with the Devonport Brigade.
My interests include fine wine and dining, along with outdoor pastimes such as fishing, diving, tramping and hunting.
