Katrina is currently reviewing the ‘Conduct of financial institutions’ paper and would appreciate your feedback on this paper in order to submit the Association’s view before the legislation becomes law in December 2019.
Katrina will cover off what has been achieved over the last year since inception of Financial Advice NZ and talk about the work the Head Office team have put into helping us prepare for regulation and legislation. She will also cover how the MACs have been established and what they responsibilities they cover.
There will also be a discussion on the workbooks and webcasts, and how using these tools will help you prepare for the future and meet the new legislative requirements.

He will be discussing the insurance environment, recent claims and also the liability scheme. Joining Andrew will be Marijke von Molendorff who is the broker that manages the scheme at Marsh New Zealand Limited on behalf of Financial Advice New Zealand. Andrews talk will be followed by a Q&A.
