Against a backdrop of volatile markets, anticipated slowing economic growth and geo-political challenges, our speakers will examine key topical issues likely to influence economies and financial markets in the period ahead, and discuss potential opportunities (and risks).

Attendees will be provided with some topical comments and thinking with regards to the current state and outlook of financial markets. This will focus on global and local economic and market insights and will include the following…

• Local and global macro-economic update and outlook

• Local economic and equity market review and outlook

• Global economic and equity market review and outlook with focus on one or two sector opportunities

• India economic and market review and outlook

• Current trends and growth in electric transportation in NZ and thoughts on what the future might hold.

• Some of the presenters will also provide reference to their investment product but this will be in a minor

• The session may also include 2 short “talking head” video clips (5 mins) from a couple of other fund manager partners (on global credit/fixed income, and global long/short equity investing. To be confirmed).
