AMP Capital Investment Outlook 2019

AMP Capital Investment Outlook 2019

It’s been a rough year for investors globally in 2018. Despite solid economic and earnings growth, benign inflation and low interest rates, markets were rattled by trade wars, the Fed and slowing growth. As we head into 2019, we expect the uncertainty to give way to the reality that while global growth may have passed its peak, it will remain solid. In New Zealand we expect growth to improve on the back of fiscal stimulus but for inflation to remain benign and the RBNZ on hold.

To discuss these themes and the implications for investment markets, please join AMP Capital's investment team for breakfast and their insights into the economic and investment outlook for 2019 and beyond. The session will conclude with a discussion on responsible investment, looking at where you are on your ESG journey and helping you to meet your fiduciary duties.

Participants will gain knowledge of what to expect in 2019 across all major asset classes as well as knowledge on the global and New Zealand economy.  This will help frame the investment environment for them over the year and beyond.  There is also a Q+A session for attendees
